It's ok to be not ok
So I have been forcing myself today.
Only realized this when I was practicing yin yoga tonight. My body felt very heavy and tight and very different from my usual practice.
I was very uncomfortable and felt terrible especially in the half dragonfly pose, the full dragonfly then swan pose. I was still trying to fight back that feeling when my teacher reminded us 'just let go and surrender'.
Then I surrendered. I embraced the stiffness, as well as the feeling that says 'yeah, my body sucked today'.
Yep, it's OK to be not ok. Accept what my body can do for me today.
What a fruitful lesson.
