Back to school, after MCO
Day 1
-Briefing on the new normal and sop with the returning y11 by our safety officer.
-Packed lunch served by school canteen - chicken enchilada, a treat from school. Lunch in canteen with pool side view.
-'New office' as I'm stationed in the library now to observe social distance. Have a personal 'broadcast room' - the science lab, specifically for my online live lessons. But some hiccups with the network and connection.
-Mask wearing so far is the most challenging one for me. I think I might faint/ die of suffocation - breathing in what I breathe out while wearing mask. Also, you need to speak louder as students are sitting further away. And can't hear what the students say when they respond.
-Eyes and hand gestures now become an important means of communication as the mouth and cheeks are covered.
Luckily we are a small school.
